I saw Yvonne yesterday evening, before her night nurse arrived.
Although very weak she was feeling quite upbeat and "energised".
Her visitors during the day had taken her into the living room for the afternoon which was a rare treat.

She'd asked me to go over as she'd had a idea for some art work that she wanted to talk over.!!

She is very weak but generally in bright spirits.

Unfortunately she is not able to have visitors other than close family. But if people would like to pass on their best wishes I am printing off the comments for her to read at her lesiure.

  1. Sorry, just realised where you can leave comments! (not very good at this bloggy thing!)

Yvonne, you were my first boss whilst teaching and I thank you for all your support and the great observations you gave me as tutor of 'Smile Please'! You gave me the confidence to realise that actually I could teach and enjoy it to boot!

I'm glad to hear that you are still energising and encouraging others with their work and wish you my very best wishes and hope you stay comfortable. Lots of Love Bron x

  2. I'm not very good at this blogging thing either- took me ages to work it out, only to have left a message on Friday's comments.
So Yvonne, I hope you hear that message.

Thinking of you lots, and hope you are keeping comfortable today

    Lots of love

  7. Hallo Yvonne, I had a bit of a tidy at the studio, swept a space in the middle and found some boxes that still hadn't been put back since the art trail, it's amazing how much rubbish is accumulated, I think of you while I'm up there. I saw Howard Robinson in the high st and he asked after you.
I started two paintings and put gesso on 4 small ones it was freezing but warmed up fairly soon stretching the canvas!!

    lots of love Tess
